Sarnia, ON – April 28th, 2026 – Scott Jones Pro Player Hockey Development, a leading hockey skills training organization founded in 2019, is proud to announce an expanded partnership with the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). This collaboration aims to elevate youth hockey development across the Sarnia-Lambton region by combining expert skill instruction with the Sting’s established player pathway.

Scott Jones, Player Development Coach for the Sarnia Sting and Player Development Consultant for the Vegas Golden Knights (NHL) and Henderson Silver Knights (AHL), brings over 20 years of elite coaching experience to the partnership. His program focuses on developing players of all levels — from beginners mastering fundamental skills to advanced athletes refining high-level techniques in skating, stickhandling, shooting, passing, and game strategy.

“This partnership represents a natural extension of my role with the Sarnia Sting,” said Scott Jones. “By aligning Scott Jones Pro Player Hockey Development with the Sting’s coaches, players and resources, we can provide young players in our community with consistent, high-quality development opportunities that bridge minor hockey through to junior and professional levels. Our goal is to help every athlete build confidence, improve their game IQ, and enjoy the process of getting better.”

The partnership will integrate Sting coaches and players into Pro Player Hockey Development’s proven on-ice training method. Local minor hockey players in all of Lambton and surrounding areas, will benefit from the presence of both Pro Player Hockey Instructors and Sarnia Sting Coaches/Players in specialized camps, clinics, skill sessions, and coaching instruction designed to accelerate development while emphasizing proper technique and long-term player growth.

The initiative underscores a shared commitment to growing hockey in Southwestern Ontario by providing accessible, elite-level training that prioritizes fun, fundamentals, and future success.
